Before you start
You need an existing FIRCY account and permission to add connectors in Claude. Organisation settings and your Claude plan may affect which connectors you can add.
Connect
- Open Customize → Connectors in Claude, then choose Add connector → Add custom connector. Choose FIRCY’s listing instead if it is already available in your directory.
- Enter FIRCY as the name and
https://mcp.fircy.com/mcpas the HTTPS server address, then choose Continue. - Keep Sign in now and Use Claude’s published identity (CIMD) selected, then choose Add. Open the new FIRCY connector and choose Connect. Sign in using your existing FIRCY account if prompted. You do not need custom headers or a client secret.
- Review the account and requested read access. Keep Stay connected after signing out selected if you want automatic renewal, then choose Allow connection.
- Return to Claude and ask: “Use FIRCY to check my connection, then look up the public IP 1.1.1.1.” When Claude asks to use a tool, review the request and choose Allow once. You can keep the normal approval requirement for future tool calls.
Menu labels can vary by plan and account. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner may need to add the connector first.
This connection uses browser authorisation and automatic token renewal. You do not need a locally installed MCP server. See Claude’s guide to custom connectors for current plan support.
Verify and manage
A successful connection check confirms authentication. If there is no matching activity, try a broader time range. Tool availability depends on the permissions you approved and still hold in FIRCY.
Use FIRCY AI connections to disconnect immediately. Removing a connector in Claude and revoking it in FIRCY are separate controls.
After revocation, a new tool request prompts you to reconnect. Completing the normal consent flow creates a new connection; the revoked connection stays disconnected.
