Before you start
You need an existing FIRCY account and an Amazon Quick role that can create connectors for your team. FIRCY supports Amazon Quick in the Asia Pacific (Sydney), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon) and Europe (Ireland) Regions.
Quick opens the FIRCY sign-in in a pop-up window. Allow pop-ups for your Quick address before you start.
Connect
- In Amazon Quick, open More → Connectors, choose the Create for your team tab, then choose Model Context Protocol.
- Enter FIRCY as the name and
https://mcp.fircy.com/mcpas the MCP server endpoint. Keep Public network for both connection types, then choose Next. Quick accepts only letters, numbers, spaces and_ . , ! ? -in the description. - On Authenticate, Quick selects User authentication. Enter the values below, tick Public OAuth client and leave the Redirect URL that Quick fills in. Then choose Create and continue.
| Quick field | Value |
|---|---|
| Client ID | fircy-amazon-quick |
| Public OAuth client | Ticked. No client secret is needed. |
| Token URL | https://mcp.fircy.com/mcp-auth/token |
| Authorization URL | https://connect.fircy.com/integrations/mcp/authorize/ |
- Quick creates the connector as Pending sign-in. Choose Sign in, sign in with your existing FIRCY account in the pop-up, review the requested read access and choose Allow connection. Approve within 10 minutes of choosing Sign in.
- The connector becomes Ready and lists the FIRCY tools your account can use. Review the actions, publish the connector and share it with your team.
- Open a chat with FIRCY selected and ask: “Use FIRCY to check my connection, then show today’s priorities and explain which item to investigate first.”
Each person who uses the connector signs in with their own FIRCY account the first time they use it, so answers only include what their FIRCY role allows. Menu labels can vary by Quick plan and account.
Verify and manage
A successful connection check confirms authentication and shows when the connection expires. If there is no matching activity, try a broader time range.
Quick does not refresh its tool list automatically. Choose Sync on the connector to pick up new FIRCY tools.
Use FIRCY AI connections to disconnect immediately. The connection appears there as Amazon Quick. Deleting the connector in Quick and revoking it in FIRCY are separate controls.
Fix common problems
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| “Your browser prevented the sign-in window from opening” | Allow pop-ups for your Quick address, then choose Sign in on the connector again. |
| “Start the connection from your AI app again” | The approval page was open for more than 10 minutes, or was already used. Choose Sign in on the connector again and approve straight away. If Quick already shows the connector as signed in, close the window. |
| “Client authentication is required” | Tick Public OAuth client and leave the client secret empty, then create the connector again. |
| Quick shows only one tool, listTools | The connector is still Pending sign-in. Choose Sign in and approve the connection. |
